The international community is in the midst of elaborating on a new framework to promote sustainable development, the success of which will at least partly depend on good policies, credible institutions, and the better and more effective use of available resources to catalyze and finance growth.  The options available to finance growth are positively correlated to the strength of a country’s public financial management (PFM) policies, supporting framework and processes, and underlying capacity.
