One of the DC Forum’s most

international development and financial institutions based in Washington,
DC. This session will provide insight
into recent trends in accountability at the international level and afford a
unique insight into the auditor’s perspective of these important international
institutions.
Our Speakers:
Jorge da Silva was appointed
Executive Auditor of the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) on September 1,
2012. Mr. da Silva brings to the IDB
more than 25 years of private and public sector experience in internal
auditing, accounting, risk management, internal controls, and information
technology.
Mouhamadou Diagne is the
Director of Strategy & Operations for the World Bank Group Internal Audit
Vice Presidency and brings to the institution over 20 years of experience in
Accounting and Auditing. Prior to joining the World Bank Group, Mouhamadou held
senior positions at Fannie Mae, Arthur Andersen, and Deloitte & Touché.
Mouhamadou is a CIA, CPA, CGMA, CIDA, and a member of the AICPA. He is holds
MBA and MSc. degrees with concentration in Finance.
Daniel S. Nelson joined the IMF
in October 2004 as Assistant Director at the Office of Internal Audit and
Inspection in the International Monetary Fund (IMF), Washington DC. Prior to
the IMF, Mr. Nelson worked at the UN World Food Programme, and with Price Waterhouse.
He is a CPA and a CIA. Mr. Nelson also served as a member of the audit
committee of the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF).
