Our Speaker: Mr. Jason Bauer is a Director in the Finance, Investment and Trade team which seeks to catalyze private investment through strengthening the environment for private enterprise. Prior to this role, Mr. Bauer established the Private Sector Initiatives team which was charged with creating innovative mechanisms to leverage MCC investments. Mr. Bauer was an associate with OTF Group, where he worked with private and public sector leaders on a range of strategy issues. Mr. Bauer worked at a financial institution performing financial and strategic analysis in the energy, telecommunications and agribusiness sectors. At the World Bank, Mr. Bauer worked on a micro-credit and SME project. He was a Peace Corps Volunteer in Benin. Jason holds a Masters in Sustainability Leadership from Cambridge University; an MBA from Cornell University and; a BA in Economics and Political Science from the University of North Carolina.
